The 2 second rule for killer post titles
Randfish had a good article on the SEOmoz blog about the importance of catchy titles, since nowadays that's one of the key chances to stand out in the hundreds of other feeds in RSS readers. I want to emphasize this, but not only in the RSS context. Social bookmarking sites like del.icio.us and Digg make it also important to have a killer title. More and more information sources are competing for attention, and decisions are made usually in two seconds - just enough time to read the title. Make sure your blog posts have good ones.
